Gafoor Poultry Plant: Odour Nuisance (THIS CLAIM IS NOW CLOSED)

The High Court has appointed us as Lead Solicitors in a civil claim for private nuisance on behalf of legal homeowners/legal tenants affected by odours emanating from the Gafoor Poultry processing facility which operates from its premises at Fletcher Road. The claim is a group action and is pursued against the operators of the Gafoor Poultry plant.

The claim is for compensation for the loss of enjoyment of homes caused by odour from the plant and possibly a claim for injunction to ensure that the site brings the odour nuisance to an end.

There is a strict deadline within which all claims must be registered at the Court.  If you are the owner or tenant of residential property affected by such issues and you would be interested in joining the action please fill in the form below: you will then be sent a link to a questionnaire which you will need to complete online by NO LATER THAN 30 AUGUST 2024 so that we can assess whether you are eligible to join the claim.  Any questionnaires received after that date will be too late.  If eligible, the claim will be pursued under a Conditional Fee Agreement (known as “no win, no fee”).  Further details will be provided to you.
