Witness Appeal to Support Victims Abused by Alan Johnson

We are acting on behalf of one of the victims of Alan Johnson and wish to speak with anyone who has any information regarding his abuse.

Johnson, now 71 years old, worked as a PE teacher at a middle school and high school in the Lowestoft area during the late 1970s and 1980s. He has been convicted and sentenced to 13 years in prison after admitting 12 sexual offenses, including indecent assaults and the rape of a child.

Johnson abused his position of trust as a teacher, targeting vulnerable students and subjecting them to horrific abuse. His actions have left his victims suffering from severe psychological harm, with some feeling ashamed, isolated, and estranged from their families.

It is highly likely that there are other survivors who have not yet come forward. We know that many victims of childhood sexual abuse, especially when the abuser holds a position of authority, may only feel able to speak out years or even decades later.

If you or someone you know was sexually abused by Alan Johnson, or if you have any information that may help in securing justice for his victims, please get in touch.

This was an horrendous gross breach of trust committed by a teacher in a brazen fashion as if he thought he was immune from the laws and norms of human decency.
