Our asbestos team finishes their 700 Mile virtual relay to aid support groups and charities

Our Asbestos team have completed an impressive 700 virtual miles as part of the #MoveForMeso challenge!

They visited several destinations and set milestones at our offices in Cambridge, London, Southampton and Plymouth. Members of the Asbestos team are now based in these new locations to strengthen the team’s offering to those suffering from asbestos diseases all over the UK. The team then made the final virtual leg of the journey to return to the Hugh James headquarters in Cardiff.

Members of the team took part in a total of 72 running, cycling and swimming activities to complete the challenge, which amounted to 7,209 metes in elevation to reach the final virtual checkpoint, in just 12 weeks!

The virtual relay has raised awareness about asbestos related diseases and much needed funds for life changing charities and support groups.

Watch the video below to see their journey and each virtual checkpoint they stopped at.
