We are pleased to announce our appointment to the legal panel of the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims Support Group (GMAVSG), a charity that provides essential support to individuals and families affected by asbestos-related disease.
This panel exists to ensure that those diagnosed with asbestos-related conditions have access to expert legal advice from firms with a proven track record in this specialist area. We are one of only a small number of law firms to be selected, in recognition of their expertise, dedication, and longstanding work in asbestos litigation.
Our specialist asbestos team brings to the panel more than 50 years of experience in representing clients who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, asbestosis, asbestos-related lung cancer, and pleural thickening. Over the past five decades, the firm has supported thousands of families in securing justice, financial security, and peace of mind.
Richard Green, Partner and Head of our Asbestos team, commented:
“We are extremely proud to have been appointed to the GMAVSG legal panel. The charity does outstanding work not only in supporting those affected by asbestos-related disease but also in advocating for lasting change. The ongoing impact of historic asbestos exposure continues to devastate families across the UK, and the work of GMAVSG makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Myself and the entire team of asbestos lawyers in our Manchester office are honoured to be part of this important network and look forward to supporting GMAVSG members with care, dedication and legal expertise.”
Rob Rayner, Co-ordinator at GMAVSG speaking on the collaboration:
“Our charity is delighted to work with Hugh James. All solicitor firms on our panel have to meet rigorous standards, to ensure the best outcome for asbestos victims. It’s clear to me that Hugh James not only meet, but exceed, those standards.”
