The British Wills and Probate Awards ceremony took place at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on 10 October 2024. This annual event celebrates excellence and innovation within the private client sector, and this year saw 450 people attending in person with over 200 viewing the live-streamed ceremony. The awards, run by the Today’s Wills and Probate publication, were presented by TV magician, Ben Hanlin.
We were shortlisted in three categories: Court of Protection Team of the Year, Contentious Probate Team of the Year (Boutique), and Private Client Firm of the Year.
Our Court of Protection team were delighted to be crowned Court of Protection team of the Year for the first time.
We were also thrilled to win Private Client Firm of the Year for the fourth year running, against some stiff competition.
Eleanor Evans, Roman Kubiak, Samantha Roberts, Tom Hall, Greg Poole, Ryan Taylor, Austin Gill, and Ceri Webster all attended the ceremony, representing the teams shortlisted for awards.
Eleanor Evans said:
“We were so pleased to be recognised again as Private Client Firm of the Year. The awards become more competitive each year and it is testament to the hard work and excellent client service delivered by our teams that the judging panel chose ours as the winning entry.”
Tom Hall said:
