Kate Harris, Associate (Chartered Legal Executive) in the Specialist Claims team, has been awarded the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) accreditation at Senior Litigator level.
Based in our Cardiff office, Kate is an APIL-accredited Senior Litigator with specialist experience representing individuals and groups of claimants who have suffered personal injuries arising from harmful or defective products.
The APIL accreditation is awarded to individuals who demonstrate competence and expertise in handling personal injury claims. It provides quality marks demonstrating the competence and specialist expertise of solicitors and barristers dealing with personal injury claims. These quality marks help injured people determine which lawyer may be best to help them with their claims.
Commenting on receiving the award, Kate said:
“I am pleased and privileged to have gained accreditation at Senior Litigation level from APIL for recognition of my expertise and experience.”
APIL chief executive Mike Benner said:
“Being injured through negligence is never planned for, and many victims feel vulnerable and uncertain about the future. The APIL accreditation logo lets injured people, and their families know that they are in the very safest hands and that their lawyers are dedicated to getting their lives back on track.
APIL members who are awarded accredited status must demonstrate expertise and experience and be up-to-date with the latest legal training and developments in the law. “
APIL is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and enhancing access to justice, improving the services provided for victims of personal injury, and campaigning to change the law wherever appropriate. APIL roles and accreditations help the public to recognise expertise and specialisms within the profession when seeking advice.
