Paul is a Senior Associate in the Industrial Disease department, where he acts on behalf of clients who are existing or veteran service personnel with noise induced hearing loss claims. He also has experience of dealing with asbestos claims.
After graduation from Cardiff Law School, having gained his Law degree and post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice (LPC), Paul worked for several years in the Insurance sector. In 2004, returning to the legal profession, he joined Hugh James in the Indemnity and Corporate Risk team, eventually being promoted to the role of Head of Motor Claims in 2009, a role he occupied for 6 years. In 2012 Paul was promoted to Associate. During this time, Paul not only oversaw the receipt and conduct of large volumes of personal injury claims, but also ran his own case load of motor/public/employer liability claims.
Looking to diversify his skill set, Paul moved into the Dispute Resolution team in 2015. Here he worked with a wide range of clients to protect their commercial interests, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution. In this role Paul gained invaluable experience of dealing with professional negligence matters, Director/shareholder disputes, breach of contract, insolvency, debt recovery and Intellectual Property law.
