Emma Newman is a dedicated specialist industrial disease lawyer.
Emma acts exclusively for claimants exposed to asbestos in occupational or environmental settings including those exposed via overalls and work clothes of others. She has worked within industrial disease and on a variety of different occupational diseases for over 10 years, starting 2010 but she has a passion for representing those with asbestos diseases in particular.
Emma represents the injured person and also families and executors where the person has died from asbestos disease with a focus on swift and compassion action. She has acted in cases all over the country on compensation cases for mesothelioma, asbestosis, asbestos related lung cancer and asbestos related pleural thickening.
Emma is involved in complex and high value asbestos claims against civil defendants, regularly recovering costs of private treatment, as well as securing compensation for claimants via the Diffuse Mesothelioma Payment Scheme and the Turner and Newall Asbestos Trust. She also supports various Asbestos Support Groups and asbestos charities.
