We’re pleased to announce our advisory role on an exciting strategic partnership between the wholesale division of leading Welsh drinks company Glamorgan Brewing Company and national wholesaler, LWC Drinks.
The alliance is poised to accelerate growth, diversify offerings, and reaffirm Glamorgan Brewing Company’s position as a leading supplier of beverages across Wales.
The hugely successful brewery arm of Glamorgan Brewing Company, which produces popular and award-winning beers including Jemima’s Pitchfork, Welsh Pale Ale and Cwrw Gorslas, is unaffected by the deal and will remain an independent, family-run business.
Our multi-disciplinary team, led by Partner and Head of Corporate/Commercial Gerallt Jones and consultant Sarah Jones-Howells, represented the group’s shareholders on this pivotal deal. We will continue to act as legal advisers to the brewery business, reaffirming Hugh James’s stronghold in the food and drinks sector.
