Webinar: Employment Law Update replay | November 2021

The Employment & HR Services team deliver their ever-popular employment law update, covering case law developments likely to be of interest to HR practitioners as well as the key legislative changes that lie ahead in 2022 and beyond, including changes to the Flexible Working regime.

The team also touch briefly on some topical hybrid working challenges that employers are facing as many businesses start to implement their new working patterns as staff return to the workplace. They also look at other challenges in the post-Covid world, such as tips on how to deal with “Long Covid” related issues and how to re-integrate previously furloughed staff back into the workplace.

The second part of the session shines a spotlight on complex issues that can arise during the disciplinary process and provides some practical ways to approach these issues. They look at those more “complicated” dismissal scenarios including cases where the “reason” for dismissal may not neatly fall within conduct/capability and how practitioners may look to deal with these in a pragmatic way.

We have posted the webinar recording above, for you to watch at your leisure.
